Job summary

Woodbridge is seeking a Development Technician to coordinate the development and improvement of new foam products. The role leads experimental design, data analysis, and presentation, while assisting with housekeeping, inventory, and procedures in the Development and Process Laboratories and the Pour Line.

Responsibilities include executing experiments, collaborating with production, and ensuring safety and compliance in the lab environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous polyurethane/urethane experience is a plus.
• Prior chemical laboratory experience is required; chemical safety training (HMIS) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify foam formulations to meet customer and organizational expectations.
• Frequent interaction with production staff.
• Write and update procedures, standards, and policies.
• Help maintain the development laboratories and work areas.
