Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic FNS Host at Medical City Las Colinas to support dining services in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will handle dishwashing, maintain sanitary foodservice areas, and assist with onboarding new staff, while complying with hospital policies.

The role requires reading and writing skills, the Food Handlers certification within 30 days, and prior foodservice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Food Handlers certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Previous foodservice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean pots, pans and other dishes.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Remove trash from cafeteria and main kitchen per schedule.
• Assist in orientation and training of new employees.
• Operate dish machine and monitor temperatures; ensure timely dishware turnover.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks in dietary.
• Complete reports, cleaning checklists and temperature logs.
• Pick up trays on units.
