Job Summary and Qualifications

We are recruiting a Food & Nutrition Clerk to join our team! As our FNS Clerk, you will process menus and diet orders related to patient nutritional care and food service. We seek a dedicated individual who values patient care. Apply now!

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting Dietitians with screening new admissions and collecting food preferences.
• Maintaining accurate computer systems.
• Processing, modifying, and checking patient menus.
• Participating in meal services and related duties.
• Communicating effectively with patients and families about food options.
• Collaborating with the dietary team proactively.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic nutrition principles, especially modified diets (preferred).
• 1-2 years’ experience as a Diet Tech (strongly preferred).
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Strong customer service and listening skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
