PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking an FMS Analyst in Huntsville, AL to support the Foreign Military Sales program under the International Field Sustainment Directorate. The role covers case development, LOA creation, financial management, and sustainment activities for weapon systems. U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance are required.

The candidate will work with DSAMS, participate in PMRs, and coordinate with government agencies. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations is possible.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in FMS or related field.

  • Travel 10–20% (OCONUS) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop LOAs in response to Letters of Request from FMS customers.
  • Assist in total FMS case management for weapon systems.

  • Coordinate PMRs, shipping, and training for weapon systems.

Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking an FMS Analyst to support our Huntsville, ALlocation.

This position will be a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program supporting the International Field Sustainment Directorate within the Aviation and Missile Command Security Assistance Management Directorate at Redstone Arsenal. Candidate will perform in the capacity of a Programmatic and Logistics Specialist in FMS. FMS duties will include but not limited to case development, case writing, financial management, repair & return, parts requisitioning, program management review support, FMS taskers, Foreign Visit Requests, and US Army correspondence.

Duties Include:

  • Develop Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) in response to Letters of Request from multiple countries that are FMS customers.
  • Assist in the total case management of FMS cases for a Weapon System platform.
  • The candidate will also perform Weapon System FMS case development activities which include but are not limited to:
    • Develop and task Price, Availability, and Serviceability data sheets and utilize the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) to develop LOR/LOAs.
    • Perform functions within various systems to provide status of programs and identify potential problem areas to management
  • The candidate will perform Weapon System FMS case sustainment activities which include but are not limited to: Resolving Requests for Information, tracking the shipment of Aviation and/or Missile FMS equipment and resolving shipping problems, coordinating and attending Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and coordinating other equipment training and Working Group Meetings
  • The candidate will perform Weapon System FMS case sustainment activities
  • GFEBS experience is preferred.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Travel: 10 to 20% with travel OCONUS
  • Experience with Army Aviation and Missile Systems is desired.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoDSecretclearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an activeSecretclearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of three years of job-related experience, or a high school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Travel may be required, both CONUS and OCONUS

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills required
  • Quick learner with an understanding of Foreign Military Sales, Weapons Systems Acquisition, and coordination of resources among government agencies
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented candidates will be viewed favorably
  • Prior DoD civilian, military, or contractor experience is a plus
  • Special consideration will be made for candidates with experience working with or in foreign countries
