BayApps, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Consultant for a fully remote role in the United States. You will lead data migration projects across Salesforce and other CRM systems, handling large data volumes and complex mappings.

The role involves ETL, data cleansing, testing, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction. We welcome both full-time staff and contractors who bring strong SQL, XML, and JSON skills and a focus on best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Salesforce data migration experience is described in the requirements.
• Experience handling large data volumes.
• Strong knowledge of databases.
• ETL processes and data deduping concepts.
• Proficiency with SQL, XML and JSON.
• Ability to cleanse data to prevent migration issues.
• Experience managing end-to-end data migration and resolving issues.
• Ability to establish best practice standards for data migration.
• Experience evaluating Salesforce, Oracle, Netsuite as source systems for data movement.
• Ability to coordinate with clients to determine data needs and create data mappings.
• Ability to establish testing procedures to ensure migrated data accuracy.
• Provide technical support to ensure migration runs smoothly.
• Create documentation to guide future migrations.

Job description

Location: United States

This is a remote position.

We are looking to hire a full-time employee or a contractor for Data Migration Consultant. You’ll be part of a global consolidation of multiple Salesforce and CRM instances.

Requirements

• Should have at least 3 years of experience migrating data to Salesforce CRM
• Should have experience working with large volume of data
• Thorough knowledge of database systems
• Thorough knowledge on ETL processes and Data Deduping concepts
• Proficiency with SQL, XML and JSON
• Cleanse data as necessary to remove the potential for issues with data migration
• Managing the entire data migration process by identifying potential issues and resolving them
• Develop best practice standards and protocols for data migration.
• Evaluating different source systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, Netsuite to determine how to best move data from one system to another system
• Coordinating with the client to determine their data needs, including the types of data that need to be migrated and prepare data mappings
• Establishing testing procedures to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications
• Providing technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently
• Creating documentation of the migration process to serve as a guide for future migration projects
