About the role

As an FM Engineering Operations Manager at CBRE, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and running all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and staff development programs for a large number of retail stores in the area. Your role will involve leading all aspects of the efficient functioning of all engineering operations to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.

What you’ll do
  • Lead and develop technical staff, oversee operations and maintenance, and contribute to budgeting.
  • Improve preventive maintenance programs and create maintenance and safety manuals.
  • Coordinate with contractors and technicians for building systems maintenance, staying current with HVAC trends.
  • Communicate with tenants, clients, and vendors, assist in contract acquisition, and maintain building records.
  • Handle emergencies, manage inventory, and oversee service contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company directives.
  • Provide supervision, guide recruitment and staff development, and monitor staffing levels for efficiency.
  • Conduct performance appraisals, mentor team members, and uphold company values through leadership.
