Kohler Co. is seeking a Casual Fish Guide in Kohler, WI to lead guided fishing trips on the Sheboygan River at River Wildlife. This role requires walking in waders and teaching guests to cast and catch fish while ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for members and visitors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fly fishing, fish biology, and Wisconsin state fishing laws.

Responsibilities

• Safely guide fishing trips across River Wildlife property as directed by the Manager – Wildlife & Experiences, River Wildlife.
• Teach casting techniques and different lure presentations during guided trips.
• Provide information on fishing techniques, larval hatches, trout and salmon biology, and water conditions.
• Assist guests with questions about fishing gear throughout trips.
• Maintain a guest service and hospitality mindset during all interactions with guests, members, and associates.
• Follow written standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
