A community music school in Boston is looking for a Teaching Artist for the After-School Band Program to teach flute sectionals for students ages 10-13. Qualifications
At least one year of teaching experience or relevant experience in chosen instrument required.
Bachelors or working towards a degree in music performance or education preferred.
Artists should be sensitive to individual student needs.
Responsibilities
Teach a small group of 3–8 students how to play the flute.
Work with the Band Director to ensure repertoire progress.
Provide curriculum to the Band Director in a timely manner.
