Job summary

JOB SUMMARY

Position Title: Flushing Operations Coordinator
Department: Flushing and Filtration Operations
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: Shipyard, On‑shore and/or offshore environments

The Flushing Operations Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing flushing operations for piping systems on marine vessels and assets. This position develops flushing plans, directs and supervises flushing crews, and ensures that piping systems meet cleanliness standards required for commissioning, maintenance, and system turnover.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of piping systems, P&ID, fluid handling, contamination control, and shipyard/marine safety practices. The coordinator ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable procedures, contract requirements, and military and regulatory standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Safety
  • Enforce safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure crew members use proper PPE and follow confined space, lockout/tagout, and other safety protocols.

  • Travel may be required throughout the United States and potentially to international locations supporting company operations.
