Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Analyst in Huntsville to own the Gas Subsystem design for the Lunar Transfer Stage. You will build transient models and guide hardware optimization from concept through operations.

The role requires 3+ years in thermal/fluids analysis, proficiency with Thermal Desktop FloCAD and Sinda/Fluint, and strong FORTRAN skills. Spacecraft experience is a plus, and multiple benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of thermal/fluids analysis experience.
  • Proficiency in Thermal Desktop FloCAD and Sinda/Fluint with FORTRAN skills.
  • Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain transient fluids simulation models of the gas subsystem.

To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.Blue Origin is hiring a Fluids Analyst to design and optimize the Gas Subsystem for the Lunar Transfer Stage spacecraft. You'll own the complete lifecycle—from requirements and interface definition through conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification testing, and operations.
