Job summary

Quaker Houghton PA, Inc. is seeking an on-site technician to perform experienced technical and administrative duties within a manufacturing setting.

The role operates with limited supervision, applying independent judgment to support coolant systems, chemical additions, reporting, and environmental controls. Responsibilities include monitoring fluid systems, maintaining lab equipment, supporting site staff with organization initiatives, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in addition of chemicals to fluid systems as directed by site staff.
• Inspect and maintain coolant filters, washers, and paint systems to keep fluids within limits.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment (scales, pH meters, glassware, incubators) per plan.
• Prepare and generate daily usage reports; initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Support site organization initiatives (inventory, labeling, storage) and waste management tasks.
• May operate equipment such as forklifts, sump suckers, and power washers as needed.
