Job summary

Quaker Houghton PA, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Fluidcare Technician to perform first-level technical work in an on-site manufacturing environment. You will follow standard procedures, liaise with site staff, and enter results into databases while maintaining safety and Life Saving Rules.

You will participate in chemical handling, perform bio-stick dip tests, calibrate laboratory equipment, and prepare shift reports. Occasional overtime and flexible hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in addition of chemicals; including coolants, cleaners and biocides as directed by site staff.
• Perform bio-stick dip tests of all machine sumps and central systems.
• Liaise with the customer to highlight changes in coolant parameters and enter results in databases.
• Prepare detailed shift reports.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment (scales, pH meters, glassware, incubators, etc.).
• Interact with site staff, production and technical personnel; may operate hand tools, shop tools and equipment.
• Operate industrial equipment (fork trucks, power washers, tuggers, etc.) as required.
• Possibly work flexible hours and provide Fluidcare services as directed by Site Manager/Lead Technician.
• Perform routine part sediment analysis and washer validations; overtime may be required.
