Austin Industrial is hiring a Maintenance Fluid Technician to ensure pneumatic and hydraulic systems run safely and efficiently. You will change fluids, replace filters, lubricate parts, and keep systems clean, with a focus on TPM documentation and preventative maintenance.

Based in Tempe, AZ, this on-site, full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and forklift experience or willingness to learn.

The Maintenance Fluid Technician will be responsible for ensuring that the pneumatic and hydraulic systems run efficiently and safely by changing fluids, replacing filters, lubricating parts, and cleaning systems.

Responsibilities:

• Removing/replacing all fluids, lubricants, and components as required in a safe and efficient manner.
• Create and edit TPM documents on computer.
• Complete all routine work orders and preventative maintenance
• Complete appropriate paperwork
• Other duties as assigned
• Capable of properly lifting to 35lbs
• Must be able to multitask and communicate well with others
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.

Qualifications:

• Must have valid Driver's License
• Must have Microsoft Office software knowledge and experience
• Must have forklift experience or ability to learn and be trained on forklift.

Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
