Job summary

The Community Supports Network seeks a Front Line Supervisor to lead and support Direct Support Professionals in residential homes, empowering individuals with disabilities to learn, grow, and thrive. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with intellectually and/or developmentally disabled persons.
• Ability to pass background checks prior to hire and annually thereafter.
• High school diploma or GED; willingness to obtain required trainings and certifications.
• On-call availability Monday–Friday with rotating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Direct Support Professionals in residential homes.
• Oversee daily tasks including documentation, meetings, and safety drills.
• Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and medication management.
• Support individuals to maintain good hygiene and participate in activities.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule with some weekday and weekend coverage.
• Ensure compliance with agency standards and foster a safe environment.

Job Summary

As a Front Line Supervisor (FLS), you will lead and support a team of Direct Support Professionals in providing high-quality, person-centered services that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn, grow, live their best lives, and thrive as active members of their communities. In this leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential homes, coach and develop staff, ensure compliance with agency standards, and foster a safe, positive, and supportive environment for both the individuals we serve and your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage & oversee residential homes as well as staff working in the home
• Complete daily, weekly, & monthly tasks (documentation, house & staff meetings, safety drills)
• Assist with daily tasks/chores like cooking, cleaning, medication management
• Support individuals to practice and maintain good hygiene
• Run errands such as shopping and going to appointments
• Encourage and foster individual's hobbies and interests
• Follow health & safety protocols
• After training, this role includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule shared across the team, with occasional weekday and weekend coverage. This salaried position includes a mix of direct support and administrative responsibilities, along with evening and weekend availability.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with intellectually &/or developmentally disabled persons
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all background checks prior to hire & annually thereafter
• Ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications
• Availability to be on-call M-F; and rotating weekends/Holidays.

Preferred Experience - Not Required

• Preferred minimum 1 year experience working in behavioral health services
• Preferred minimum 1 year supervisory experience in similar field
• Healthcare or behavioral health
• Human services or social services
• Mental health support
