Job summary

Oxy is seeking a flowback operator to support oil and gas well production during the early flowback phase. The role requires strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations, daily production readings, and DSU reporting.

You will analyze deviations in well test data and communicate results to the relevant teams while following SOP/ROP. This position requires physical endurance for 12-hour rotating shifts, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in extreme temperatures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule and in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
• Gather hourly/daily production readings and format DSU reports.
• Analyze deviations in well test data and communicate to appropriate teams.
• Perform flowback operations per SOP/ROP.
• Quantify daily sand rates from sand weight or automated systems.
• Complete energy isolation and permits (JSA, LOTO, SWS).
• Troubleshoot e-dump systems and automated manifolds.
• Manual operation of valves and maintenance on flowback rig up.
• Be able to work in extreme weather 10–120 deg F and drive to sites.
