Position Overview: We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Flowback Operators to join our team in Midland, TX. The Flowback Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining flowback equipment and systems to safely and effectively monitor and control well production during the initial stages of oil and gas well completion and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain flowback equipment and systems according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and control well production parameters, including flow rates, pressures, temperatures, and fluid levels, using gauges, meters, and control panels.
- Conduct flowback tests and measurements to evaluate well performance and identify potential issues or abnormalities.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs or adjustments as needed to ensure continuous operation and optimal performance.
- Collect and analyze data from flowback operations, including fluid samples and pressure readings, and prepare reports for clients and internal teams.
- Coordinate with other personnel on-site, including wellsite supervisors, engineers, and technicians, to ensure smooth and efficient flowback operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
- Complete required documentation and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, including job tickets, maintenance logs, and safety reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or relevant training in oilfield operations .
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Flowback Operator or in a similar role in the oil and gas industry.
- Thorough understanding of flowback operations, well testing procedures, and equipment used in oil and gas well completion.
- Proficiency in operating flowback equipment such as separators, choke manifolds, flow meters, and data acquisition systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
