Job summary

Veolia Water Tech offers a 24-month rotational program for new graduates, combining formal training with hands-on field experience at industrial sites across the United States.

Participants will rotate through Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Field Leadership, and other areas to prepare for roles across the Veolia Water Tech family. Graduates must have a STEM degree and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Environmental Science, or other STEM field.
• Must have graduated within the last 3 calendar years.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls on equipment.
• Create and maintain site paperwork and provide detailed technical summaries.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals; manage chemical injection systems.
• Perform analytical site testing (e.g., turbidity, pH, chlorine, TOC).
• Review customer plant installations against reference drawings and schematics.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

Veolia Water Tech offers a 24-month program that combines formal training with hands-on field experience at industrial customer sites across the United States. The program welcomes new graduates who will work on projects that impact the business and the company’s future. Participants will have opportunities to rotate through other engineering and support-based areas of the business, including Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Field Leadership, Technical Support, Lab, and Process Control. The intent is to prepare the candidate to fulfill a role in one of these disciplines across the Veolia Water Tech family.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site-specific testing requirements
• Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Environmental Science, or other STEM-related field
• Must have graduated within the last 3 calendar years
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred:

• Previous internship/placement or related work experience is beneficial

Working Conditions

• Ability to travel extensively (150+ days per year)
• Willingness to relocate if required
• Ability to comfortably lift 35 lbs
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks

Compensation

• $65,000 + Overtime Eligible
