What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Perform routine high complexity analyses and interpretations of flow cytometry dot plots for leukemia/lymphoma specimens
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control documentation
  • Operate necessary equipment and prepare samples for testing
  • Prioritize samples according to established policies
  • Assist in training laboratory personnel and participate in required Continuing Education activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience
  • Experience in Flow Cytometry analysis
  • High level of attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass a standardized color vision screen
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA), or SCYM(ASCP) certification
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed
