Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Flow Coordinator to assist manufacturing operations in Portland, Oregon, focusing on maximizing throughput and improving operator efficiency across multiple operations.

The role requires familiarity with production flow, kanban systems, and adherence to safety protocols. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow into direct labor roles as needed, within a high-quality, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow work orders, specs, and procedures.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to operate in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate part flow to maximize throughput and meet production goals.
• Organize kanbans and buffers to ensure priority parts are accessible.
• Assist in direct labor tasks when indirect labor is unavailable.
• Maintain safety practices and follow procedures (SOPs, PCPs, QCMs).
