This position requires strong floral knowledge, technical design skills, creativity, efficiency, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do

- Use sound judgment and creative problem-solving when floral selections, quantities, vessels, mechanics, or design concepts require adjustment.
- Support product quality and presentation by maintaining and rotating floral displays, identifying and properly logging product that no longer meets quality standards, and helping control product waste.
- Assist the Floral Concierge and customers with floral recommendations, pricing guidance, and proper care and handling of flowers, foliage, and plants as needed.
- Maintain an organized design area, tools, and workspace, and assist with shop setup, event preparation, transportation, installations, strikes, and breakdowns as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of professional floral design experience.
- Strong knowledge of flowers, greenery, floral care, design techniques, proper floral mechanics, and current floral styles and trends.
- Experience creating a variety of floral designs, including daily arrangements, centerpieces, bouquets, sympathy designs, event florals, and larger-scale pieces.
- A refined design eye with a strong understanding of color, texture, proportion, and composition.
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately while managing multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong judgment, organization, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to design and production challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate professionally, and receive creative direction and feedback.
- Reliability and scheduling flexibility, particularly during busy event and holiday seasons.
- Excellent customer service
Experience in luxury floral shops, weddings and events, hotels, casinos, high-end corporate floral, or large-scale event production is strongly preferred.
