Job summary

Walter Pine LLC in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a creative and passionate Part-Time Florist to join our team. You will design floral arrangements for weddings, events, and daily orders, and assist customers in choosing flowers and add-ons.

This role rewards a strong eye for color and composition, excellent customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. You will receive, process, and store fresh inventory, maintain a tidy shop floor, and build lasting client

Qualifications

• Prior experience in floral design or a related creative field preferred
• Strong eye for color, composition and Walter Pine floral design aesthetics
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Design and create floral arrangements for a variety of occasions including events, weddings, and everyday orders


• Assist customers in selecting flowers, arrangements, and add-ons to meet their needs


• Receive, process, and properly store fresh flower inventory to maintain quality


• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop floor and workspace


• Process customer orders accurately, including in-store, phone, and online requests


• Monitor and replenish floral supplies and materials as needed


• Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships

Requirements:

• Prior experience in floral design or a related creative field preferred


• Strong eye for color, composition, and Walter Pine floral design aesthetics


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including weekends and holidays


• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift floral supplies as needed


• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player


• Knowledge of flower care, handling, and seasonal availability is a plus
