Position Overview

The Florida Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster - Severe/Complex handles investigations of automobile accidents involving property damage and/or bodily injury, often involving attorneys and litigation. This remote role allows you to work from home while assessing coverage, liability, and damages, providing excellent customer service through various communication channels. You will negotiate injury settlements using innovative tools and platforms.

Position Details

This role involves handling severe/complex files for Florida. You will:

• Customer Service: Demonstrate empathy, clear communication, and partnership in claims handling.
• Investigation: Conduct detailed reviews of damages and interpret policies to determine coverage.
• Communication: Use calls, emails, and video chats to assist clients efficiently.
• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with various parties, applying legal and business standards.
• Problem Solving: Utilize tools and critical thinking to manage claims in a fast-paced environment.
• Record Keeping: Ensure accurate documentation and policy adherence to protect company interests.

Work Location

This is a permanent remote position within the United States, excluding California, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of Bodily Injury claim handling experience, especially in Florida
• Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with claims evaluation tools and platforms

Licensing

Depending on the role, you may need to obtain an adjuster or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, with support from the company.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $57,500 to $100,212.50, based on experience and qualifications. A $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus may be available if you hold the necessary active licenses.
