Job summary

Chrysalis Health is seeking Florida-licensed psychiatrists (MD/DO) to provide court‑ready psychiatric evaluations for youth involved with the Florida DJJ. This independent contractor role focuses on evaluation only, with no ongoing therapy or medication management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Psychiatrist (MD) is required.
• Board certification in psychiatry is preferred.
• Experience with psychiatric assessments, forensic evaluations, or juvenile populations is preferred.
• Ability to conduct evaluations in person and deliver clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for youth referred through DJJ.
• Review medical records, psychiatric history, and court documents.
• Develop diagnostic impressions and provide court-ready recommendations.
• Complete concise, well-structured evaluation reports.
