Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Florida-based DLCW Business Class Leader to guide the technical team responsible for dams, levees, coastal and flood risk projects.

You will direct project delivery, mentor staff, and collaborate with regional leaders to ensure client satisfaction and HDR quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture, a Florida PE license or eligibility within 6 months, and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience in dam, levee, civil works, or equivalent.
• Maintains a professional registration and related technical experience.
• Committed to HDR values and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, strategy, direction, risk management for the DLCW team within HDR's Water Business Group.
• Lead delivery of projects (studies, planning, design/construction support) for dams, spillways, reservoirs, levees, flood risk, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor staff and manage workload within the DLCW Business Class.
• Provide project leadership as PM or technical lead meeting client expectations and HDR quality standards.
• Collaborate with Florida leadership and regional/national DLCW leaders to advance business class efforts.
