Florida Virtual School is seeking a Florida Certified Spanish Instructor for the Flex High School program. The role supports online and blended learning and requires a Florida teaching certificate in the content area.

Starting date is Immediate; contract is 12 months with a salary of $57,000 per year. Location is Remote Office or School Based Facility as assigned, with benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area OR active enrollment in approved EPI/MAT program with valid certificate/eligibility.
• Three years teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement instructional activities for meaningful learning.
• Identify and adapt instructional resources for diverse students.
• Assess curricular needs and propose improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and timely communication with students and families.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance instructional environment.
• Support blended learning and online teaching models.
