Job summary

FLVS is seeking an Instructor to deliver engaging online instruction across Florida. The role focuses on creating a supportive educational atmosphere and guiding students toward academic success in line with FLVS policies and state laws.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing lessons, collaborating with colleagues, maintaining records, communicating with families, participating in blended learning when required, and upholding professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area OR proof of active enrollment in a state-approved EPI/MAT program AND either a valid Florida certificate or temporary certificate.
• Endorsements as required by Florida DOE.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement instructional activities to engage students.
• Identify and adapt resources for diverse learners.
• Assist in assessing curricular needs and propose improvements.
• Maintain record-keeping procedures.
• Create a positive learning environment and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with peers through team teaching and meetings.
• Model professional and ethical standards with students and staff.
• Ensure growth and achievement aligns with age group and program.
