Job summary

Mint Cannabis is seeking a Compliance Coordinator for Florida operations to ensure regulatory adherence across retail, cultivation, and processing. The role requires knowledge of Florida medical cannabis laws under Section 381.986, F.S., and OMMU rules, with experience in variance requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in compliance or regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Section 381.986 and OMMU rules.
• Experience with variance requests or regulatory petitions in Florida medical cannabis.
• Experience in retail, cultivation, and processing compliance.
• Excellent technical writing skills, including SOPs and regulatory responses.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and document management.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership in preparing variance requests per 381.986 and OMMU rules.
• Coordinate with Leadership, Cultivation, Processing, and Retail to ensure accurate variance representations.
• Track submissions, monitor responses, and relay outcomes to teams.
• Create organized guidance to implement changes required through variance approvals.
• Draft responses to Notices of Violation and Information Requests from OMMU.
• Support monitoring and response efforts for COAs, including root-cause analysis.
• Monitor inspection reports and work with leadership to address compliance concerns.
