Barry Miller Law seeks a Florida-licensed Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. This early-career role suits an attorney with about 1–2 years’ experience seeking broad, hands-on responsibility.

You will collaborate with experienced lawyers on business, real estate, transactional and civil litigation matters, gaining direct client contact and increasing responsibility as you grow professionally. The position offers meaningful client engagement and exposure to hearings and negotiations.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar in good standing.
• Approximately 1–2 years of legal experience.
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Desire to develop across transactional and litigation matters.

Responsabilités

• Handle business and commercial legal matters.
• Assist with residential and commercial real estate matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Assist with business formations and general corporate matters.
• Handle civil, commercial, real estate and contract disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis.
• Assist with litigation strategy and case preparation.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations and other proceedings as experience permits.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel and other professionals.
• Manage assigned matters, deadlines and client communications.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals and support staff.
