In the role of Area Aviation Market Sector Leader, we'll count on you to:

• Primary Responsibilities: Develop and lead the aviation practice in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Puerto Rico, supporting our national aviation practice. Responsibilities include program and staff development, retention, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing. Function as a Senior Project Manager for aviation projects and assume business class management responsibilities. Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through our project management system. Maintain direct involvement with aviation clients in marketing and project production. Participate in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews. Manage and develop multi-discipline teams. Implement and monitor company policies. Hire and develop Project Engineers and technical personnel. Develop production capabilities with regional teams. Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Preferred Qualifications: Established relationships with Aviation clients in Florida. Experience delivering Airfield Design projects in Florida. Registered Professional Engineer in Florida.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, planning, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years industry experience
• Experience in strategic marketing for planning/engineering services
• Experience managing client relationships and project pursuits
• Staff development experience including recruiting and professional growth
• Active involvement in industry associations and market visibility
• Ability to collaborate with various regional and business leaders
