Job summary

Bachman’s Inc. Plymouth store seeks a Floral Supervisor to lead our floral and indoor plant areas and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will guide a small team, demonstrate product knowledge, and ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and hands-on involvement in floral sales, with a schedule that varies across retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail supervisory or management.
• Direct experience in floral sales or management desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good technical knowledge including POS, Windows and Excel.
• Demonstrated strength in employee relations, problem solving and customer service.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations and supervise retail activities.
• Train and model exceptional customer service.
• Merchandising, ordering, stocking, display, inventory control of product.
• Assist customers with flower arrangement design when needed.
• Provide daily supervision and foster teamwork to meet customer expectations.
• Handle schedules, reviews and timecards in a timely manner.
• Manage product quality, ordering, merchandising, stocking and stock levels.
• Provide feedback to support departments.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organization throughout the store.
• Oversee store operations in absence of Store Manager.

Floral Supervisor

Full Time: Schedule will vary during retail hours
(Sunday through Saturday)

Our Plymouth store is looking for a Floral Supervisor to lead our floral and indoor plant areas while creating an exceptional experience for our customers. We’re looking for a confident retail leader who knows floral and plant products, leads by example, and enjoys building a strong, collaborative team.

Job Duties

• Assist in managing within assigned store operation, directly supervise the retail operations as assigned by the Assistant Store Manager.
• Train and model exceptional customer service.
• Merchandising, ordering, stocking, display, inventory control of product.
• Ability to step in when designer is not available to assist customers with flower arrangement designing.
• Provide daily supervision and work direction through a participative management style by encouraging a teamwork environment that meets customer expectations.
• Perform required administrative functions on a timely basis: schedules, reviews, and timecards
• Manage product quality, ordering, merchandising, stocking, displays, and stock levels.
• Provide feedback to support departments.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout store.
• Manage the entire store’s operation in absence of Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High energy level with the ability to provide strong leadership, train, delegate and motivate staff.
• Personal documented history of exceptional performance at Bachman’s and track record of supporting company management, policies and procedures
• Ideal candidate has a strong team mindset and a strong desire to provide positive customer experience.
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions and on feet all day

Schedule

40 hours per week. Variable days, nights, weekends; must be available holidays and for overtime, as needed

Compensation

$18.50/hour
