Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates in partnership with The Design Haus is seeking a Floral Manager for our growing wedding and event floral production team in Sugar Hill, GA. The role oversees design operations and leads a team to deliver high-quality arrangements for 5-10+ weddings per weekend.

The position requires 2+ years in floral design and management, with proficiency in Google Sheets/Docs. Flexible weekend availability is needed; benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401k, with opportunities

• 2+ years of experience in floral design.
• 2+ years of experience as a manager.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets/Docs.

Responsibilities

• Manage Floral Design Team including hiring, coaching, onboarding, training.
• Set and enforce design standards.
• Set work schedules for the design team.
• Educate team on profitable, executable designs.
• Host team meetings and attend open houses.
• Communicate needs to Operations and participate in BEO meetings.
• Approve payroll and assist in budgeting/P&L.

REQUIREMENTS

• Location: Buford, GA

• Hours:
  • Flexible Schedules.
  • Must be available to work weekends.
• Required Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in Floral Design
  • 2+ years of experience as a Manager
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Docs
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 40+ pounds throughout the day
• Other:
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify
  • Submit/complete background check; have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
