Job summary

Sunset Food Mart, Inc. is seeking a Floral Manager in Libertyville, IL. You will listen to customer needs to design arrangements, fulfill wedding and corsage orders, and care for live plants and cut flowers.

The role includes ordering from wholesalers, pricing displays, and leading in-store seasonal changes. You will provide extraordinary customer service, handle inquiries, and maintain displays while tracking sales, purchases, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years floral design experience.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Knowledge of blooming and green plants and fresh cut flowers.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customer needs to design floral arrangements that meet their design specifications and budget.
• Fulfill customer orders including corsages, wedding work, original designs and European gardens.
• Care for plants and flowers by maintaining optimal care conditions.
• Order and purchase flowers and plants from wholesalers and growers.
• Create, maintain and seasonally change in-store displays and department look.
• Track sales, purchases, inventories and shrink.
• Conduct or assist in floral department classes.
