Responsibilities
  • Promote trust and respect among associates.

  • Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department.
  • Monitor and maintain sanitation to company standards and health regulations.
  • Order and maintain stock and supplies, monitor conditions, and appearance.
  • Merchandise and display products to increase sales.
  • Implement price changes and monitor scan integrity.
  • Monitor product quality and remove poor-quality items.
  • Control and monitor inventory, maintain records.
  • Communicate with vendors, monitor received inventory.
  • Implement company programs and communicate their purpose and procedures to team members.
  • Review display planners and implement according to guidelines.
  • Prepare and hang signs as needed.
  • Prepare for and perform inventory counts.
  • Attend required training and meetings.
  • Review department statements and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Communicate with management and store personnel.
  • Review department bulletins and implement company programs.
  • Complete required forms.
  • Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
  • Practice preventive maintenance on equipment and report repairs needed.
  • Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
  • Report safety risks, illegal activities, theft, or fraud.
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
