Job summary

The Design Haus is seeking an Inventory Lead to oversee all event inventory and lead the strike team during post-event breakdowns. You will manage rental items, florals, and hard goods, ensuring accurate returns and efficient workflows across warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in inventory or logistics leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting budgets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inventory management, warehouse leadership, or logistics preferred.
• Prior team management experience strongly preferred, ideally in events or hospitality.
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced warehouse/event environments.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain organization of all inventory, including hard goods, florals, vessels, and rental items.
• Develop and implement inventory tracking systems to reduce loss and increase efficiency.
• Ensure event inventory is properly prepared for delivery and accurately returned.
• Help schedule, lead, and manage the strike team for all post-event breakdowns and returns.
• Serve as primary point of contact for strike crew communications and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate with design and warehouse teams to ensure inventory availability for upcoming events.
• Assist with truck loading/unloading logistics and warehouse organization as needed.
• Conduct routine inventory audits and support reorder/restock processes.
• Train and onboard new strike team members and seasonal support staff.
• Fleet Management
• Work closely with the Floral Managers to ensure that client expectations are understood and exceeded.
• Address any operational issues or questions that may arise during events to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor expenses and ensure that operations stay within budget. Work with the Floral Operations & Global Operations Manager to forecast budgets for upcoming projects and allocate resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and oversee the proper handling of flowers and equipment
• Help inventory incoming floral when receiving

Job Overview

The Inventory Lead at The Design Haus is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event inventory and leading our strike (post-event breakdown) team.
