Job summary

Cosentino's Price Chopper in Lee's Summit, MO, seeks a Floral Clerk (Part Time) to assist customers, stock displays, and craft balloon arrangements. You will follow store policies, ensure freshness, and maintain clean floral areas.

This role reports to the Floral Manager and is non-exempt, on-site in a busy grocery environment. The position emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and safe handling of all equipment, with training provided through Cosentino’s Learning Plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ongoing training per Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
• Experience in grocery or floral helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and document orders for follow-through on service requests.
• Know department products, policies, and answer customer questions.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and involve store management when needed.
• Maintain Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards in all interactions.
• Stock and rotate floral cases and shelves, ensure freshness and proper dating.
• Create balloon arrangements per customer specifications.
• Deliver floral and store products as needed.
• Count and record items for inventory purposes.
• Unload incoming shipments and stock materials safely.
