Job summary

AlSaree AutoTechnics in Washington state is seeking a Floral Designer to turn creativity into beautiful arrangements for weddings, events and everyday occasions. You will meet with clients to discuss preferences, design unique pieces, and maintain the floral department with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include ordering supplies, arranging flowers, and staying aware of current trends in floral design while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a florist or floral designer preferred
• Knowledge of different types of flowers and their care requirements
• Ability to create unique designs that meet clients needs and preferences
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss their floral needs and preferences
• Create custom floral arrangements for weddings, parties, funerals and other events
• Order flowers and supplies from vendors
• Carefully arrange flowers in vases baskets or other containers
• Trim stems remove thorns or leaves as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral department
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their flower selection
• Keep up-to-date with current trends in floral design
