Job summary

1-800-Flowers.com is hiring a Floral Designer to create specialty bouquets and arrangements that meet customer specifications while upholding quality and production standards. You will cut and arrange live flowers, follow written orders, and develop both standard and specialty designs.

Daily tasks include production sheets and maintaining a 3–4 arrangements per hour pace, with extra hours during peak holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cut and arrange live flowers and foliage according to customer orders and design specifications.
• Create bouquets, sprays, wreaths, dish gardens, terrariums, and other floral arrangements.
• Follow written orders that may include occasion, color, preferences, price, and completion time.
• Create standard recipe-based arrangements as well as specialty designs.
• Produce arrangements according to established company quality standards.
• Complete daily production sheets accurately.
• Maintain a production standard of at least 3–4 arrangements per hour.
• Assist with maintaining plants and dish gardens.
• Support other departments when necessary.
• Potentially supervise holiday make-up production.
