Job summary

Freytag's Florist in Austin, a family-owned flower shop serving the community since 1974, seeks an entry-level floral assistant to join our professional team.

As a full-time member, you will support designers, assist in hands-on production, and learn floral design from the ground up in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is $17 per hour plus tips, with health, vision, dental, 401k, life insurance, paid vacation after one year, employee discounts, and six paid holidays.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment. This is an entry-level position and a genuine opportunity to learn floral design from the ground up. Your day will be a mix of supporting our designers and hands-on production work, giving you real exposure to the craft from day one.
