Job description

For Example

3 deliveries = $50

Spring Flower Market is looking for a dependable, friendly delivery driver to help us deliver flowers throughout North Houston and the surrounding communities.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who already drives for Uber, DoorDash, Instacart, Favor, or another delivery service and would like to supplement their income with additional deliveries. Our delivery volume varies from day to day, so we're looking for someone who enjoys flexibility and is interested in picking up floral delivery routes when available.

Compensation

Drivers receive a $50 minimum for up to 3 deliveries on an assigned route.

Each additional delivery is $15 per delivery.

For Example

3 deliveries = $50

4 deliveries = $65

5 deliveries = $80

6 deliveries = $95

Delivery routes originate from our Tamina Road location.

Typical Delivery Schedule & Route Expectations

Routes typically begin with pickup at our Tamina Road location between 10:00-11:00 AM and are generally completed by 2:00-3:00 PM.

Because fresh flowers are temperature-sensitive, drivers should complete Spring Flower Market deliveries promptly and exclusively while our products are in their vehicle.

On busier days, drivers may complete a route, return to the shop, take other gig work while waiting, and then return to reload for another route.

Some orders may have specific delivery times or priority windows. Any timed deliveries will be identified when the route is assigned.

Responsibilities

Our flowers represent Spring Flower Market from the moment they leave our shop until they reach the recipient. Drivers are expected to handle every arrangement carefully and provide professional, courteous service.

Responsibilities Include

• Pick up completed floral orders from our Tamina Road location.
• Safely transport floral arrangements, plants, gifts, and other orders.
• Keep arrangements upright, protected, and in excellent condition throughout transport and delivery.
• Deliver orders accurately and within the requested delivery timeframe.
• Follow delivery instructions provided with each order.
• Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with recipients, businesses, funeral homes, hospitals, and other delivery locations.
• Communicate promptly with Spring Flower Market if there is a problem completing a delivery.
• Follow our procedures for delivery confirmation and delivery photos when required.
• Never leave an arrangement in an unsafe location or environment that could damage the flowers.
• If an order cannot be successfully delivered, return the arrangement promptly to one of Spring Flower Market's three locations and place it in the designated floral cooler so it remains fresh until another delivery attempt can be made.

What We're Looking For

The ideal driver is dependable, communicative, careful with fragile products, and comfortable navigating throughout the North Houston area.

You Should Have

• A reliable, clean vehicle with adequate space to safely transport floral arrangements.
• A valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• A smartphone with reliable GPS/navigation.
• A good driving record.
