Job summary

Flowers of Charlotte is seeking a dependable delivery driver to ensure timely, safe delivery of floral arrangements, plants, and gifts across Charlotte, NC. You will operate company vehicles, load and unload, and confirm delivery details with customers.

You will also handle payments when required, record transactions, and maintain delivery records. When not delivering, you will assist in the shop, help customers, and keep the store clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for extended periods while driving.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to work up to 28 hours per week.
• Floral industry familiarity and customer service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport merchandise to and from the shop and customer locations.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any customer feedback
• Assist with flower shop duties when not making deliveries, including helping customers with purchases and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store

Requirements
