Job summary

Terrain is seeking a Design Services Intern for the summer to collaborate with the Design Services team on floral and container design projects in-store, off-site, and private residences. The program runs from 6/7 to 8/13 and is part of the URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program with exposure to senior leadership and potential full-time opportunities.

The role emphasizes customer experience, teamwork, and visual operations, with hands-on design and project planning experience in a real-world retail

Qualifications

• Passion for horticulture and floral design.
• Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Builds genuine customer relationships through personalized attention
• Understands terrain retail concepts and partners with design team to create a cohesive environment through compelling plant installations and displays
• Exhibits an interest in home and garden trends in art, style, color, design, and architecture
• Takes initiative and works productively solo or within a team
• Clear communication + team work skills
• Collaborates in the project planning process through sharing of inspiration & idea generation
