Job summary

ShopRite of Stratford is hiring a Floral Clerk to support the Floral Department. You will price, stock, wrap, and rotate merchandise while delivering a great customer experience and maintaining department standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with balloons, and ensuring proper product handling and display. This full-time role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and understand English to perform job tasks.
• Basic math skills for pricing and stock management.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and QA standards in the Floral Department.
• Greet customers and assist with balloons, pricing, wrapping, and display.
• Receive, date, store, and price-mark products with accuracy.
• Display and rotate merchandise to attract customers.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
