Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Floral Clerk (Bayville, NJ) to deliver excellent customer service while pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise in the Floral Department. The role requires maintaining a neat, clean department and following company policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, pricing and wrapping merchandise, stocking displays, and adhering to QA standards. The job involves lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying temperatures as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department sanitation and QA standards.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Price, stock and rotate merchandise in the Floral Department.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing and price marking.
• Display merchandise attractively and manage damaged goods.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise to the Floral Department.
