ShopRite of Route 35 & 18th Ave in Belmar, NJ is hiring a Floral Clerk to join the Floral Department. The role involves pricing, stocking, rotation of merchandise and providing friendly customer service. You’ll help keep displays attractive and handle balloons and wrapping as needed.

Candidates should be able to stand long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, perform basic math, and work well in a team while following safety and QA standards. Benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills for pricing and transactions.
• Stand/walk for duration of shift.
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Follow safety, QA and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Price, stock and rotate merchandise in the Floral Department.
• Maintain a neat, clean and visually appealing display.
• Assist customers with balloons, wrapping and pricing merchandise.
• Follow receiving, dating, storing and price-marking procedures.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise to the Floral Department.
• Ensure department sanitation and QA standards.
• Adhere to all safety and company policies.
