Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a team member to assist in the floral department. You will greet customers, process purchases, and provide friendly service while caring for plants and flowers. You will also arrange arrangements, display stock, and assist with pickup/delivery orders.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following safety procedures as part of a team. Internal candidates have preference after six months of service.

Qualifications

• Provides friendly, courteous service to customers.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Training will be provided at store level.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers prior to checking their order.
• Check out customer purchases accurately.
• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Receive and process merchandise.
• Display plants and flowers with proper signs.
• Water and attend to flowers and plants.
• Make bows, corsages and boutonnieres.
• Arrange and package fresh flowers for customers.
• Take orders for pickup and delivery.
• Operate a cash terminal and handle payments.
