Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a friendly Floral Associate to assist in designing and merchandising floral items, help customers, and process orders. You will design and create floral arrangements, assist customers, and ensure displays are inviting and well-stocked.

You will maintain displays, stock supplies, operate the register, and ensure clean, organized work areas while delivering excellent service to every customer.

• Assist in decorating and merchandising the department.
• Keep carts, tools, and supplies in their designated areas and well organized.
• Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Maintain plants, process and prepare flower arrangements and fill balloons.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
