Job summary

Bristol Farms in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Floral Clerk in the Floral department. You will support customer service, arrange and sell floral designs, maintain displays, and educate guests on plant care. Responsibilities

• The Floral Clerk provides service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Assists in the design and sales of live, cut-dried, and artificial floral arrangements.
• Unpacks, cleans, and re-cuts fresh flowers; maintains plant displays and displays accessories.
• Processes flowers and maintains rotation of displays; ensures safe wrapping for travel/delivery.
• Shares product knowledge with customers and educates on care and handling.
• Assists customers with a smile and builds relationships for repeat business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Floral Clerk is responsible for providing service that exceeds the expectations of customers by performing the following duties (other duties may be assigned):

• Confers and plans arrangements according to customers request based on cost or selects appropriate standard design pattern


• Assists in the design and sales of all live, cut-dried, and artificial floral and floral arrangements


• Unpacks, cleans, and re-cuts fresh flowers; un-sleeves green and blooming plants; displays complementary accessories


• Processes flowers; cleans containers, re-cut and cleans flowers; maintains display and rotation; pinches back tired plant products


• Plant maintenance, watering, upgrading, unpacking, and displaying


• Share product knowledge with customers; educate them on care and handling.


• Assists customers with a smile and a willing attitude. Assures high sales through establishing relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.


• Ensures floral items are safely and securely wrapped for travel or delivery.
