Overview

Southland Floors is a family owned and operated floor covering distributor with a solid 50-year history of providing high quality flooring products and excellent customer service throughout the state of Florida. Based out of Pompano Beach, FL, we are looking for an Outside Territory Sales Manager to cover Broward County and surrounding areas. This is a commission-based position.

Qualifications
  • Candidates must live in the territory being serviced.
  • Must have prior floor covering sales experience.
  • Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle that can carry various flooring samples, preferably a van, SUV or truck.
  • Must have a strong, self-motivated work ethic, as this is a remote position.
  • Willing to travel daily (Monday – Friday) to service customers.
Responsibilities
  • Service existing customer accounts
    • Making sure customer pricing is accurate and up to date.
    • Assessing customer needs/opportunities and creating a specific business plan to grow sales.
    • Samples – product updates, removing discontinued items and setting up displays.
    • Keeping in regular contact with account holders via visiting physical locations, phone calls and electronic communications.
  • Develop new business
    • Opening up new accounts.
    • Generate leads for new accounts.
    • Follow up on leads.
  • Growing the Southland Floors brand throughout the territory.
