Job summary

Turning Stone Enterprises seeks a Flooring Technician to join the Facilities Department. Start pay ranges from $22.00 to $27.00 hourly with day shifts from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Roles evolve from Level I to Level III, increasing responsibility, independence, and mentorship duties across flooring installations. Responsibilities include equipment operation, material prep, coordination with departments, and safe tool handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Excellent communication, diplomacy and objectivity.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift 71-80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Level I: operate basic flooring equipment and prep materials.
• Level II: prepare damaged surfaces and mentor Level I.
• Level III: assist in estimating hours and materials, manage aesthetic repairs.
