Ritsema Associates seeks a skilled Flooring Installer to support high‑quality flooring installations across commercial projects. You will install multiple flooring types, prepare surfaces, ensure accuracy and durability, and maintain a safe, professional jobsite.

The role requires proficiency with flooring tools and techniques, hard work, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Company provides tools and training; year‑round work offered.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with flooring tools, materials, and installation techniques.
• Basic knowledge of floor leveling and surface preparation.
• Strong math skills and ability to read measurements accurately.

• Must provide and maintain personal hand tools (power and specialty tools provided).

Responsibilities

• Install various types of flooring including tile, wood, carpet, and specialty materials.
• Perform floor preparation tasks such as leveling, sanding, and surface repair.
• Ensure all installations meet company standards for quality, accuracy, and durability.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring correctness and cost‑effective execution.
• Arrive on time and ready to work at assigned job sites.
• Follow instructions and communicate clearly with field leaders.
• Cooperate with team members and assist with additional tasks as needed.
• Represent the company in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner.
• Maintain a productive workflow with minimal downtime.
• Inspect completed work and report any issues to the Field Leader or Superintendent.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest solutions.
• Adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and jobsite conditions.
• Follow all jobsite safety protocols and company safety standards.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support project success.
